The Pre-reservation Service for .XXX domains is now closed . This service allowed both members and non-members of the Sponsored Community the opportunity to register expressions of interest in certain names. The actual names will be allocated in due course via a number of processes including, but not limited to, Founders, Sunrise, Grandfathering, Landrush and General Availability. ICM will be contacting each applicant in the coming weeks with complete instructions to how and where to apply via .XXX Accredited Registrars and how to enter their pre-reserved names.

In the event of a competing application during the Sunrise and/or Landrush periods that proceeds to a closed auction, the earliest applicant under pre-reservation, as long as the appropriate credentials have been provided, will get preferential treatment in the form of being deemed to have the opening bid,. This means that if no other bids are made the earliest applicant will be awarded the name. In the event the name has not been taken during our Founders, Sunrise or Landrush programs the applicant will be emailed prior to Landrush to let them know the name is available on a first come first serve basis during General Availability.
